  3.    This CD-ROM publication contains electronic versions of material presented
  4.    at the SIGGRAPH 97 conference, held in Los Angeles, California, 3-8 August,
  5.    1997.

  7.    This CD-ROM contains Sketches material presented at the conference. The 
  8.    Computer Animation Festival, Ongoings, Electric Garden and SPACE material
  9.    is on the other SIGGRAPH 97 Visual Proceedings CD-ROM.

  13.    The following folders and files appear at the top level of each CD-ROM.

  23.                                  for Macintosh, DOS, Windows 3.1/NT/95,

  27.                                  Adobe Acrobat PDF, HTML, QuickTime, MPEG,
  28.                                  and other file formats.

  30.      contents.htm                HTML document containing a table of contents
  31.                                  of the content on this CD-ROM, with links to 
  32.                                  the material.

  34.      contents.pdf                Adobe Acrobat PDF document containing a table

  42. Adobe Acrobat Reader Software
  43.  
  44.    Adobe Acrobat Reader software for many platforms is available on the CD-ROM
  45.    in the "acrobat" folder. 
  46.    
  47.    Installation instructions for this software can be found in the "acrobat" 
  48.    folder in files named "readme.mac" (Macintosh), "readme.txt" (PC), and 
  49.    "readme.unx" (UNIX). 
  50.    
  51.    The PDF content of the CD-ROM has been indexed for keyword searching with
  52.    Adobe Acrobat Search. To use the search index for a particular CD-ROM, the 
  53.    file "index.pdx" in the folder "acroindx" must be loaded into the Acrobat 
  54.    Reader with Search software as a search index (select the 
  55.    "Tools -> Search -> Indexes" menu item in Acrobat Reader).
